FROM THE JURASSIC COAST TRUST TEAM:
”Hidden away in Purbeck, within a stone's throw of the Jurassic Coast, is Keates Quarry. This working quarry contains one of Dorset's best kept secrets - an incredible set of dinosaur footprints, made by Jurassic giants 145 million years ago.
Our expert volunteer "Ambassadors" lead gentle, leisurely walks to the quarry throughout the year. The walks are suitable for all ages and nearly all abilities. We meet at the famous Square and Compass pub in Worth Matravers, and the whole walk to the quarry and back is wrapped up within two hours.]This year, children's places on all our Dinosaur Footprints walks are free of charge, proudly sponsored by our friends at Purbeck Ice Cream, with proceeds from their Jurassic Range.
As a Jurassic Coast Business Partner, we are delighted to offer you free adult places as well on any of this year's walks. Please see below for all the dates.
All our walks start at 12:00 noon, meeting at The Square & Compass pub in Worth Matravers.
To book your places on one of this year's walks, please email us with the date of the walk you'd like to attend, and the names of those attending.”
